RadEye SPRD Personal Radiation Detector
Spectroscopic personal radiation detector with isotope identification for advanced radiation detection in the field, part of the RadEye PRD and SPRD family.
After an alarm, the SPRD immediately classifies the radiation as natural or artificial and can then identify and classify the source, for example as industrial, medical or SNM. It can be worn in a holster or on a standard service belt.
- Spectroscopic CsI detector with 7.5 % energy resolution at 662 keV
- Advanced NBR with 6 energy windows reduces nuisance alarms from e.g. granite and natural stone
- S-Alarm applies extra sensitivity from 90 keV to 450 keV for effective detection of SNM
- Configurable as a simple 0 to 9 radiation level gauge, with simplified ID classification or with full spectroscopy
- Energy compensated dose rate across a broad gamma spectrum
