FHT 762 Wendi-2 Wide Energy Neutron Detector
Neutron dose rate detector with high sensitivity and excellent energy and angular response, thermal to 5 GeV according to H*(10), ICRP 74. Based on the WENDI-2 design originally developed at Los Alamos.
The detector is based on the WENDI-2 design originally developed at Los Alamos, and combines excellent energy response in the normal energy range up to 15 MeV with a close match to H*(10) behaviour up to 5 GeV. It is used as an external detector with the FHT 6020 area monitor or the FH 40 G survey meter.
- Thermal to 5 GeV energy range according to H*(10), ICRP 74
- High sensitivity due to large He-3 tube
- Excellent gamma rejection: no significant spill-over for gamma dose rates up to 1 Sv/h
- Fits the FHT 6020 area monitor and the FH 40 G survey meter
