RadEye PRD4 Personal Radiation Detector
Compact, sensitive personal radiation detector for quickly detecting and locating radiation sources, part of the RadEye PRD and SPRD family.
The PRD4 is intended for basic screening by users for whom radiation is not the primary duty. It does not include isotope identification – for that, see the RadEye SPRD.
- CsI(Tl) detector with 200 cps per µSv/h at 662 keV
- NBR distinguishes artificial radiation from natural background and reduces false alarms by 80 % without increasing alarm thresholds, according to the manufacturer
- Neutron indication via prompt gamma analysis
- Sourceless gain stabilisation running continuously in the background
- Optional Bluetooth with iOS and Android app, RadResponder compliant
