RadEye AB100 Alpha-Beta Contamination Monitor
Handheld contamination monitor with a 100 cm² dual phosphor detector, for surface contamination measurements with excellent alpha/beta discrimination.
The RadEye AB100 measures alpha, beta and gamma radiation simultaneously, with separate alarm levels for alpha, beta and gamma. Typical users include civil defence, fire brigades, hospitals, the nuclear industry and the pharmaceutical industry. A supervisor can partially or fully block the menu operations to keep the instrument simple and avoid faulty operation.
- Excellent alpha/beta discrimination
- Light weight (900 g), excellent grip with or without gloves
- More than 1,000 h operation time using 2 C batteries – rechargeable NiMH cells can be used
- Calibration factor selected from a list of isotopes, with units such as Bq, Bq/cm² or dpm
- Single pulse for alpha, chirper mode for beta, and an earphone output for loud environments
