RadEye B20 Multi-Purpose Survey Meter
Compact survey meter for alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray surface contamination that switches automatically to the right measuring unit when a filter is fitted.
The RadEye B20 has a bright backlit display with plain text messages in a selectable language, and can be adapted to different tasks through supervisor configuration, calibration and selection of measuring units. The B20-ER version extends the contamination and dose rate ranges for high range measurements. The instrument comes in a black plastic case with space for filters and test adapter.
- Measures alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray surface contamination with a pancake GM tube
- Switches automatically to the proper measuring unit when an auto detection filter is fitted to the detector
- Accurate dose rate surveys with optional energy compensated filters (17 keV – 3 MeV)
- Optional alpha blocker filter discriminates alpha from beta contamination
- More than 500 h operation on 2 AAA batteries, weighs 300 g
