Safety-Guard Series II Radiation Conveyor Monitoring System
Radiation monitoring system for conveyor belts, detecting radioactive sources inside packages or cargo for goods inspection and material flow monitoring.
The system consists of detector assemblies, the Box PC II controller and the Power Control Alarming (PCA) Module, which provides visual indicators of system function and audible alarms. A bypass mode lets the user disable the system when the conveyor isn’t in use to prevent nuisance alarms, while the background continues to be processed.
- Detects both gamma and neutron radiation from packages or cargo on a conveyor belt
- Natural Background Reject (NBR) discriminates between NORM and artificial radiation
- Advanced Digital Filtering (ADF) decreases false alarms due to natural statistical fluctuations
- A total of 20 radiation measuring channels can be configured to match a variety of demands
- Remote monitoring and reporting via a network or the optional Cellular Modem Kit
