PM12 Personnel Gamma Portal Monitor
Personnel gamma portal monitor with high sensitivity for faster monitoring, and five modes of operation: walk through, one step, two step, three step and stand and turn.
The PM12 may operate in either minimum count time or maximum sensitivity mode: the user enters the desired alarm level and the monitor determines the minimum necessary count time to achieve it. When used with user identification, it may be used to monitor lung burden trends on individuals over time.
- Typical MDA of 200 Bq ⁶⁰Co on the surface of the body
- Five modes of operation, from walk through to stand and turn
- Additional ⁶⁰Co alarm with greater sensitivity than the standard alarm
- A human silhouette on the portal frame shows which of the eight detector zones is contaminated
- In its basic form no keypads or complicated displays are necessary
