RadHalo RDP and FM Area Monitor
Spectroscopic area monitor with a NaI detector for continuous dose rate monitoring and nuclide identification, as a portable unit (RDP) or a fixed installation (FM).
The RDP version can withstand drops of up to 1 m onto concrete and has a handle and a removable shoulder strap. All RadHalo model kits contain the RIIDView PC spectra viewer, an AC power supply and an Android/Apple mobile device application, and data can be transferred to Thermo Scientific ViewPoint or your own command and control software.
- Measures dose rate and identifies nuclides automatically, with a 3x3" NaI detector and a dual range Geiger-Mueller tube
- Portable RDP for rapid deployment, fixed FM for permanent area monitoring
- 60 hr battery that can be charged via AC mains or solar panel
- Monitors the communication channels and automatically switches if the primary transmission method is unavailable
- 1024 bit encrypted data transmissions and tamper sensors
