iPCM12 Installed Personnel Contamination Monitor

Installed personnel contamination monitor with 21 gas detectors split into four detection zones (body, head, hands, feet) to minimise background during monitoring.

The monitor is available as an open booth (iPCM12A, the smallest footprint) and a closed booth (iPCM12B). All background, measurement, source checking and event log data is stored in an SQL database within the monitor, and each measurement result may be stored against a personnel identifier.

  • Almost 17,000 cm² detection area, with sprung detectors making contact with the arm and the top of the shoe
  • Alarms on single detectors or sum zones give very low detection limits for distributed contamination
  • QuickScan significantly reduces counting time without compromising the probabilities of detection or false alarm
  • Detectors easily accessible from the front panel
  • Voice prompts and a large touchscreen show the location of the contamination in the event of an alarm
