PRC 14 Flushing Pump
Flushing pump for cleaning the sampling circuit of HAGUE 7000 carbon 14 bubblers, part of SDEC's service and consumables range for MARC/HAGUE bubblers.
The HAGUE 7000 traps carbon 14 by bubbling in a soda solution. Micro-droplets carried away with the air gradually leave solid deposits in the sampling circuit, mainly between pots 1 and 2, so the circuit should be cleaned at least once a month. How quickly the deposits build up depends on the soda concentration and the sampling rate.
- Flushes the HAGUE 7000 sampling circuit with a dilute acid solution, dissolving deposits of sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate
- Prevents clogging of the Ø 3 mm stainless steel pipes and the drilled block
