MARC 7000 Tritium Bubbler

Four-pot atmospheric tritium sampler with oxidation furnace, for collecting tritium as HTO, HT or OBT.

The tritium activity in the collected sample is measured daily, weekly or monthly with a liquid scintillation counter and related to the sampled air volume. The aeraulic circuit is made of 316L stainless steel, and the last 8 alarms are recorded with a time stamp, downloadable via serial port. The bubbler is delivered with a power supply cable, four glass bottles with caps, calibration certificates and a user guide in English.

  • Collects tritium vapour (HTO) and gaseous tritium (HT) or organically bound tritium (OBT), using four bottles and a catalytic furnace
  • Cooling system keeps about 7 °C in the bottles, reducing evaporation and allowing weekly collection
  • Air flow regulated in standard litres per hour, calibrated with a COFRAC certified air flow calibrator
  • For sampling of air from stacks, hoods, rooms and the environment
