Gammabeam X200 Research Irradiator
Dry storage panoramic field irradiator with a large field size, for applications such as secondary standards dosimetry, sterile insect programmes and medical research.
The Gammabeam X200 is a dry storage panoramic field irradiator suited to a broad spectrum of applications, including secondary standards dosimetry, sterile insect programmes and medical or veterinary research. A graphic user interface and touchscreen on the control console provide easy routine operation and diagnostics, and Best Theratronics provides a standard shielded-room drawing on which site-specific design plans can be based.
- Field light and ODI ensure that the product is contained within the beam
- High or low dose depending on distance from the source
- Asymmetric collimator jaws provide flexible field configurations
- Irradiation time is monitored and controlled by two independent timers
- Battery based power supply system allows uninterrupted unit operation
